General information and identification of the quotation.

Transaction type
When you are using transaction types in your environment, you can use this field to add a specific classification to your documents. This field will also be copied to the next document status.
Quotation number
The quotation number is the unique number a quotation receives; it is generated automatically.
Reference
A reference for the customer, for example a serial number or a project number for administrative processing at the customer's office.
Status
Automatic value to indicate the status of the offer.

For which customer the quotation has been made for.

Customer
The selected customer for whom the offer is intended.
Contact
A contact person within the customer's company who will receive the quotation. This field is not mandatory but is recommended.
Address
The address where the items are to be delivered if the quotation becomes an actual order. If no address is selected, the default address is selected from the customer data. This is also the billing address. For companies where only one address is known, it is therefore not necessary to create additional addresses.

Information about the transport.

Delivery method
The delivery condition that is set in agreement with the customer when creating the quotation. How does the customer want the delivery to take place? This data is also copied when the quote is made into an order. Values in this field can be set in master data.
Warehouse
The warehouse that is related to the quotation, where the order is also created if the quotation is accepted.

Which rental period (start to finish) applies to the items in the offer.

Deliver on
This field is the time of shipment, usually a date. The Deliver on field initially changes automatically after the Invoice from field changes and depends on the duration of delivery set on a shipping method or a customer card. The field entered on the quotation header is a suggestion that is copied along when placing items on the quotation.
Billing from
This field is the time from when invoicing of items starts. This may vary due to, for example, delivery/transportation time. The field that is filled in on the quotation header is a suggestion that is copied along when placing articles on the quotation. So the invoicing start is adjustable per article.
Expected end of lease
This field is the time when the items will be returned to the warehouse. Depending on the delivery/transport time, it is also good to check when the items are returned. The field that is filled in on the quotation header is a suggestion that is copied along when placing items on the quotation.
Calculate price until
This field is the time when the invoicing of items ends. This can also vary due to, for example, delivery/transport time for returns. The field that is filled in on the quotation header is a suggestion that is copied along when placing articles on the quotation. The invoicing end is therefore adjustable per article.

Currency
The currency set on this quote. This may differ from the default currency set within RentMagic.
Automatically allocated discount percentage for items
Discount or surcharge percentage over the prices of the items placed on the quotation. A positive value is an allowance (A) on the standard price and a negative value (D) is a discount on the standard price.
Ignore price agreements
If no standard discount should be charged for this quote, tick this box.
