Items tab

Items on the reservation are the products, serial numbers or services offered to the customer.

A reservation without items has no meaning. So add items to your reservation and calculate the total price. You can then save the reservation to create an order.

New article (reservation line)

  • From the overview, click Edit Items/Serial Numbers in the action bar.

The reservation line form for modifying the items on the reservation is displayed.

  • You can add items in these ways:
    • Scan
      Via Scan you can look up items, or scan them directly with a barcode scanner. In this field you can select articles and serial numbers. If you are looking for a specific article in a large range of items, you can first select a category under category. Then you can search through this category at scan. If you select an item you have found, it will appear on the reservation line. Of course you then have to fill in the correct information in the reservation line and check all the important fields.
    • Manually adding lines
      By manually filling in the fields in the last row of the overview you can create reservation lines. Fill in all the relevant fields. Be sure to review the content of the rules as well by clicking the down arrow in the rightmost column. It is possible to adjust any dimension fields, price calculations and other conditions.
    • Availability
      It is also possible to select items from the availability. Availability provides a planning view of all items (or serial numbers) that are available for a given period. Click on Availability to open the availability screen.
  • After selecting the item, it will be added to the summary as a separate reservation line.
  • Check the number, prices and other fields.
  • Check or complete the information under the details of the reservation line, accessed by the arrow in the right column..
  • Repeat the above actions to add multiple items.
  • Click Save when all items have been added and all information is complete.

Items with serial numbers

Items consisting of serial numbers can be put on the reservation without serial numbers because the unique copies are not relevant yet. Only when the reservation is converted into an order and when the order is prepared or delivered it becomes important to put the unique copies (serial numbers) on the order, because then the products become active at the customer. So the serial numbers should really only be known on the order, when it is delivered.

Changing an item (reservation line)

To change an item on the reservation:

  • From the overview, click Edit Items/Serial Numbers in the action bar.
  • Customize your changes in the fields.
  • Check or change the information under the details of the reservation line, to be accessed with the arrow in the right column..
  • Click Save when the required information has been changed.

The totals are also updated immediately.

Deleting an item (reservation line) 

To remove an item on the reservation:

  • From the overview, click Edit Items/Serial Numbers in the action bar.
  • Delete the items by clicking on the delete cross . Please note that the line will be deleted without confirmation.
  • Click Save when the required items have been removed.

Renumbering rules

If you have made many changes on a reservation, the line numbers will often be mixed up, so it's a good idea to renumber the lines. The order of the lines remains the same but the numbering goes up by ten (10) again.

To renumber the lines on the reservation, follow these steps:

  • From the overview, click Edit Items/Serial Numbers in the action bar.
  • In the action bar, click Renumber Lines.
  • Check the rules for increments of ten.
  • Click Save to save the data.
