During the end of lease process, it is possible to add files, for example photos or a signature.

With an end-of-lease agreement, there is the option to upload files. This can be a simple matter of saving a signature or photos during. These are also always saved and can be viewed later.

Uploading a new file

To attach a file to the end-of-tenancy invoice:

  • To upload a file via the browser:
    • Click in the form on Select a local file. The browser's explorer dialog opens.
    • Select a file on your local computer and click Open.
    • Click Upload in the form.
  • To upload the file via drag-and-drop:
    • Use your local explorer to select one or more files to upload.
    • Drag the files with your explorer to the upload form. You will see that a rectangular window appears with a term such as 'Upload file'.

The files are copied to RentMagic and are recorded with the end-of-rent receipt.

It is not possible to upload files with the browser on mobile devices. This functionality only works on desktop computers.

Deleting a file

To delete a file:

  • Use the filter to search for a specific file using a keyword. 
  • Select the file (or several files) in the overview.
  • Click Delete in the action bar.
  • Confirm the notification.

The file will be removed from RentMagic immediately. It will also be removed from storage.

Bestand downloaden (openen)

Om een bestand te kunnen inzien zul je deze eerst moeten downloaden naar je lokale systeem.

Om een bestand te downloaden:

  • Use the filter to search for a specific file using a keyword. 
  • Select the file (or several files) in the overview.
  • Click Download in the action bar.

The file is downloaded by the browser. If more than one file is selected, a ZIP file containing all selected files is downloaded.
