Items included on the quotation are the items, serial numbers or services offered to the customer.
A quotation without any items has no meaning, so make sure to add all your items to the quotation to get an accurate calculation of the total price. After doing so, you will be ready to send the quotation the the customer.
New items for your quotation
To add a item to your quotation, follow these steps:
- From the overview, click Edit items/serial numbers within the action bar.
The form for adjusting the items on your quotation will be displayed.
- You can add items through the following methods:
- Scan
Using the Scan option allows you to search for items, or upload one directly using a barcode scanner. In this fiels, you'll be able to select items and serial numbers. When you are using a broad range of items and you are looking for a specific item, you can first insert a Category to refine your search results. After selecting an item through the search results, it will be displayed on the quotation form. After adding the item, make sure to insert other required information and check all other important fields.

- Manually adding lines
By manually filling in the lines in the last row of the overview, you'll be able to freely add more rules to the quotation. Fill in all relevant fields, and make sure to click the down-arrow to check the additional information. It is possible to adjust dimensional fields, price calculations and other conditions.

- Availability
The third option is to select your item through availability. Availability will display a planning view of all items or serial numbers that are available within a given timeframe. Click Availability to open the view.

- After selecting the item, this will be added to the overview in an separate line.
- Check the amount, prices and other fields.
- Check the correctness of the information under the details pane of the quotation form, and make adjustments where desired. You can open the details by clicking the arrow in the right column
. - Repeat the above steps to add multiple items.
- Click Save whenever all items have been added and all the provided information is correct.
Items with serial numbers
Similar items with unique serial numbers can be added to the quotation without the serial number. This is because the serial number is irrelevant at this stage. Whenever the quotation is transferred into a order and made ready for delivery to the customer, it becomes important to list the unique serial number, as this particular item will be activated for the customer.
In conclusion: Serial numbers for similar items only become mandatory once the quotation is transformed into an order and made ready for delivery.
Adjusting items on quotation lines
To make adjustments to an item on the quotation, follow these steps:
- From the overview, click Edit items/ serial numbers in the action bar.
- Make any desired adjustments in the fields.
- Check or adjust the information under the details of the quotation lines. You can access this menu by clicking the arrow in the right column.
- Click Save when you have completed making the desired adjustments.
Making adjustments is only possible when the quotation has the Open status.
The total amounts will be updated immediately.
Deleting an item from the quotation line
To delete an item, follow these steps:
- From the overview, click Edit items/ serial numbers within the action bar.
- Remove the item by clicking the Delete cross
. Keep in mind that this will be deleted without confirmation. - Click Save whenever you have removed the required items.
Deleting items is only possible when the quotation is marked as having an Open status.
The total amounts will be updated immediately.
Renumbering lines
Whenever you've done a lot of mutations, it is possible the line numbers will be mixed up. It is a good idea to rearrange the line numbers. The order of lines will remain the same, but the numbers will once again increase per 10.
To renumbeber lines on the quotation, follow these steps:
- From the overview, click Edit items/ serial numbers within the action bar.
- Click Renumber lines in the action bar.
- Check the line numbers for increments of 10.
- Click Save to save your changes.
